PREOTACT™

Preotact^™ (parathyroid hormone [rDNA origin] for injection) is the European brand name for PREOS^®. In 2004, NPS and Nycomed Group signed a distribution and license agreement granting Nycomed rights to develop and market Preotact/PREOS in Europe, including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Turkey. Nycomed is responsible for European clinical development, registration and marketing of Preotact.

Preotact^™ was submitted to the EMEA for regulatory review in Europe in March 2005. In May 2006 the European Commission issued marketing authorization for Preotact. Preotact is currently sold throughout Europe.
