NPS is committed to meeting the needs of patients by developing new treatment options for patients with rare gastrointestinal and endocrine disorders with few, if any, therapeutic options.  We are advancing Phase 3 registration studies for our two lead compounds – GATTEX™ (teduglutide) for short bowel syndrome and NPSP558 (parathyroid hormone 1-84) for hypoparathyroidism.  These are both orphan indications with significant unmet need, a lack of effective therapies, and serious complications.
